Biography
Monica SharmaMonica Sharma trained as a physician and epidemiologist and worked for the United Nations from 1988 to 2010. As director of Leadership and Capacity Development at the United Nations, and in UNDP and UNICEF, she designed programs at scale for whole systems transformation and leadership development world-wide. Currently she is the Tata Chair Professor in the Tata Institute of Social Sciences in Mumbai, India. She works with United Nations, universities, management institutions, governments, non-governmental organisations, business, media, and other organizations as an international practitioner and expert on leadership development for equitable and sustainable change.
Monica Sharma created a unique response – a conscious full-spectrum model- based on extensive application. This generated equitable and sustainable results worldwide, and is described in her award winning book “Radical Transformational Leadership”.
