What went well

Needs improvement

  1. Need to understand how to use Divi
  2. Lack of clear configuration metadata
  3. Understanding of the ecosystem

2019 Social Experiment

2020 Cracking the Code of Rapid Social Change

Refactor Website and Content Mgmt

Refactor wordpress websites and implement kickstarter and podcast.

What went well

  1. Added WooCommerce Membership
  2. Added Beyond Awakening Series CPT
  3. Added Person CPT
  4. Added Resource CPT
  5. Refactored entire website to use Divi Theme Builder
  6. Implemented custom fields for data driven dynamic post/page generation
  7. Understanding of Divi improved
  8. Added CPT UI and Advanced Custom Fields plugin for more advanced WP capabilities
  9. Understanding of ecosystem being documented

Needs improvement

  1. Need designer to work with web dev
  2. Lack of clear configuration metadata
  3. Need agreement on architectures
  4. No password management
  5. Lot’s of significant last minute changes
  6. Project mgmt
  7. Lot’s of stubbing of content – need copy writing
  8. Using volunteers to extreme

Needs improvement

  1. No business side person to do business operations for products, product rules, membership
  2. No requirements, emerge on the fly
  3. Understanding of the ecosystem
  4. No password management
  5. No project mgmt
  6. Poor collaboration across ecosystem
  7. Using volunteers
  8. No padding to do tasks
  9. Death march – each of 3 times date changed
  10. Hierarchy of responsibilities
  11. No regard for laying foundations early and in logical sequence
  12. Assumption technical implementation will take care of itself – quickly
  13. Need to consider entire ecosystem – new thing, adjustments of old things, brand
  14. Fragmenting brand
